earthwalkalol i strongly disagree with your assessment of Odd Future. they were having fun but they most definitely cared way more about music than just tryna "go viral"
shock value was their thing but they did actually want people to listen to their music seriously.

rodeo is a display of amazing production/vocals/directing from travis but it doesnt have personality
travis kind of got away with it on rodeo because the whole "make that s*** dark" atmosphere the album created basically tricked people into thinking he was doing something deeper than he actually was
but now that the dust has settled and we have like 3 albums post rodeo to look at, the fundamental problem with travis is that he has nothing to say or express in his music
