I personally think its because the industry is too attached to billboard’s bullshit “tracking week” format
We have the technology to track first week sales outside of some predetermined time bracket, let artists drop whatever day they want and let them submit their 7 days of sales

We have the technology to track first week sales outside of some predetermined time bracket, let artists drop whatever day they want and let them submit their 7 days of sales
