I don't feel like there is any story telling or continuity in this album

Wolf with the camp shenanigans

Cherry bomb has none also (?)

Flower boy the whole plan is personnal growth

Igor talking to his lover

CMIYGL with the whole voyage atmosphere and wealth

Chromakopia has ???

Even the persona does not serve any narrative really

The narrative of the album is Tyler a***yzing why he has trust issues and an inability to commit when faced with the idea of having a child, his mom seems to be there as him reflecting on things shes told him and how the perspective of them change with him potentially having a child

I feel like almost every song ties back to this theme in some way

so what does “chromakopia” mean though?

If tyler has made an album about stealing your romantic partner from you you may be entitled to financial compensation

The continuity is him consistently ignoring his moms advice on each song due to his desire to not grow up even though he desperately needs to as he’s getting older, she’s getting older, and he’s getting more and more tired/jaded

now that the dust has settled a bit I realise that with every tyler album there are always 3 “keepers” (3 songs that I keep going back to outside his album cycles) and chromakopia is no different tbh

I still think it’s a great album and it’s ok as tyler is more of an “album experience” artist anyway. but yeah my 3 keepers from each album ~
