sadly this is true. the lyrics haven’t really been measuring up to the music for a while now for the most part… for me the best lyrics here are not even the primarily rapper songs, they’re the singing ones like tomorrow and like him. hey jane is good too

A lot of second parts of songs with the over the top synths/singing high pitched, that gives a lot of igor vibes
along with the aesthetic of the cover/and love themes. its not inherently bad but it does feel like he didn't progress as much as previous albums
Also im obviously not talking about songs like Like Him or Sticky (sticky feels a bit much )

Seeing all my core childhood friends with kids and family and I’m the only one without them now just kind of sucks. Sometimes I do find myself wanting that but I’m also selfish and not ready to give up my vices or personal wants.
I know it seems like such a simplistic theme on the album for him to talk about but it hit heavy for me
