JPEGMAFIA3.15 was so good it was just unfinished and not mastered really. I think a couple of those songs could have taken off with a proper rollout.
Bando Stone was the first CG album I didn't like, it's just all over the place. I like every song individually but he clearly didn't have a vision for the album
Dadvocate is up there with flight of the navigators as his top 3

mr get dough3.15 is good idk it was missing something that makes it top tier, AML is good but honestly not really the type of music I listen to a lot
Tbh his music stopped having as much personality which makes sense bc he got a lot older, i think bando stone had that going on it just had some songs i couldnt catch a vibe to
Overall I still like all of those projects i just wasnt in love with them, bro got songs i adore on each project though
Bando is the OST for his movie
Of course it's gonna fit the narrative of the movie

It just felt like ever since that shift in the 2010s when being black became cool again it felt like gambino maybe had some insecurities with his blackness ( cuz he was a very “white” black guy, which imo i could care less ) and i feel like he got into that aesthetic from that era and it just stuck for him. Like even on bando he has moments of “black excellence” vibes from that era. It was cool on AML but after it got old fast.

Lithonia & Survive were amazing for me too @Sk8brdKee there were other songs i liked but those 3 i absolutely loved
Yoshinoya No Excuses and Real Love were good too
