Does chromo have that
tbh I’m tryna figure out what the back half of the album is talking abt
Yeah I’d say so
He is consistently reflecting on things his mother told him and his childhood due to the prospect of him having a child of his own. I feel like the album is referencing to itself as it progresses
Like on Rah Tah Tah at the end he mentions that he got pressed as a kid and that’s why he has paranoia today, which leads into paranoia where he mentions his lack of trust in starting a family and also references back to getting pressed again on the last verse, then goes into Darling I where he talks about having feelings for a new girl and imagining kids and a family with her, then goes into Hey Jane where he actually knocked the girl up and is going over the pros and cons of that because he’s scared. Take Your Mask Off and Tomorrow also reflect on his mixed feelings about the prospects of being a father, and his mom reflects on her relationship with his own father, which he dives into more on Like Him and eventually he concludes that him and the girl chose not to have the kid on the last song.
Thats just some things I caught on to on my early listening, I’m not saying its a concept album or some s*** but this album definitely does follow a central theme that he consistently references as the album progresses. His childhood his parents and the idea of him being a parent
you see someone you want f*** a ring
