and maybe it's an age thing but the way Tyler's been gushing about the music that influenced him as a kid lately (like when he wrote like a short essay on the 20th anniversary of the Frontin' by Pharrel MV or talking about the first Black Eyed Peas album getting him to start rapping as a kid) makes me wonder if its gonna be like a an auto-biographical direction now

Just thought about this, but Tyler is really good at playing characters so a lot of his interviews could be him leaning into that persona since his life stories have been inconsistent

I know a lot of ktt hates him but honest to god he’s one of the last mainstream artists that seems like he loves what he does and puts everything into it. Watch any clip of his live shows and compare it to any other hip-hop artist with a similar level of popularity.
