I feel like theres still so much we dont know about tyler
He has a lot of s*** he can talk about on this album
If weāre keeping it a band. Maybe MAYBE the album drops Q4 but I feel like thatās unlikely.
I think we get some previews at flog gnaw and we get the album 2025 Q1
First non-Spring/Summer drop, first non-odd year drop... what is he planning
Bro felt a disturbance
some of the lyrics in this clip feel introspective, talking about El Segundo and wanting to make it out, wonder if he's rapping from the perspective of him being a kid still
and maybe it's an age thing but the way Tyler's been gushing about the music that influenced him as a kid lately (like when he wrote like a short essay on the 20th anniversary of the Frontin' by Pharrel MV or talking about the first Black Eyed Peas album getting him to start rapping as a kid) makes me wonder if its gonna be like a an auto-biographical direction now
not to mention him revisiting all his visual music eras in that Sorry Not Sorry MV recently too

The estate sale was a good peer into whereās he been at mentally. He talks a lot of about survivors guilt if you listen closely enough. Maybe something is there but idk .

Fair point. Heās normally punchy with it.

Yea Iām feeling this
I wouldnāt say that confidently
Hes getting older and was VERY inspired by mr morale
I wouldnt be surprised if he went about it in his unique way, especially bc heās already started going in that direction on a few Call Me era verses
maybe, but even as recent as that mav carter interview he says something along the lines of "im so happy I have no kids and I can f*** whoever I want", doesn't really strike me as the dude who's about to drop a Morale
and ion wanna make it seem like im dissing him, I'm a huge fan its just that's not the type of music he's interested in making
So we agree this is the start of a new āeraā though right?
Pretty sure itās safe to say the flower boy, Igor, call me if you get lost story/trilogy is done.
great run
A big artist will eventually give him a feature placement man I feel heād cook up something crazy in Tylerās universe
always will appreciate denzel giving him a spot to shine on Melt My Eyes + the frank and earl cosigns.
fr only a matter of time

Hard agree

Thats exactly what leads me to think its possible
Cherry Bomb doesnāt belong to an era imo
2014-16 was highly transitional
Tyler one of the only artists to still give me that feeling I had as a kid waiting for an album to drop

I mean thatās still a perspective though can only niggas with kids be conscious
kendrick didnt have any kids when he made tpab or damn.
I donāt think his is gonna look like Morale Iād actually expect it to be more like Stankonia where they just give their perspective on their personal life as well as their world views but the sonic landscape is all over the place
love dissect podcast already breaking it down for those that missed it in the early pages
Just thought about this, but Tyler is really good at playing characters so a lot of his interviews could be him leaning into that persona
since his life stories have been inconsistent
Tyler one of the only artists to still give me that feeling I had as a kid waiting for an album to drop
I know a lot of ktt hates him but honest to god heās one of the last mainstream artists that seems like he loves what he does and puts everything into it. Watch any clip of his live shows and compare it to any other hip-hop artist with a similar level of popularity.
Fair point. Heās normally punchy with it.
yeah since cherry bomb his albums have released within a month of announcing

Yea itās the sore thumb in the discography, and I donāt mean that in a bad way. I think that may be also why he reveres it
niggas on they showing their coworkers hawk tuah memes like they just happened swag

Bet money on it
