YUP. every word of this, down to stumbling on Doechii performance clips when the tour has already began and looking up the resale prices to dismay.

I have a theory that Noid is the single because it is the least related to the overall theme and message of the album, and Tyler wants to keep that fresh and under wraps until the album officially drops.
I could see it playing into the character of St. Chroma; maybe he is followed around and famous like Tyler is in real life, and this informs some of his perspective on other things but I think the rest of the album will be about topics more removed from Tyler’s real life and he wants it to be a surprise.
    I might be wrong though

I hope so, the whole album being about the negatives of fame would be

    I agree.
Honestly, I believe the album has no connecting theme and is just a bunch of songs before I believe it’s only about the downsides of fame

100% copping floor for this. Arenas suck otherwise imo

This is probably a very unpopular opinion, but I personally enjoy having actual seats at a show.
Not because I wanna sit down the whole show, but because it’s nice to know I can go piss or grab merch or beer and then I can come right back to my spot

General Admission feels like you gotta stay in your spot for hours or else you’re going to lose it if you try to leave

But I also just don’t like the feeling of being tightly squeezed and pushed in those concert crowds lol

    This is 100% fair.
I agree to an extent, but I also like how tightly packed some shows are because it has resulted in baddies deciding to grind on me on multiple occasions, lol.
I would never be brave enough to actually go up to a girl and attempt to create that situation on any level, so I’m glad we were kinda already in it, and they decided to take the initiative.

nah its totally understandable. I personally prefer venues that fit 1,000-3,000ish ppl, philly has some great venues for that range so its usually where youre seeing most acts before they go to the arenas. I mean i’m hitting orion sun, mkgee, jean dawson, clairo in venues of that size and i cant wait

I enjoy being in the crowd and moshing and dancing and releasing energy but i totally understand preferring a seat & also hating being in rhe crowd. Can be real uncomfortable sometimes.

I saw uzi last year by myself and bought floor seats and it was an incredible experience, tylers in the same venue so im looking to do the same. Have seen other artists like kendrick there while in a seat & it just isnt the same.

Ive also never understood ppls need to lineup early to get up front on floor seats (hust to be crushed) cause u can just make ur way there anytime during the show if u know how to navigate a crowd

I didnt realize how much depth flower boy had until I realized what its like to have a lifelong friend group crumble this year

Tyler was really mourning the death of OF on Flower Boy i feel like that goes a lil unnoticed sometimes

Boredom, 911, Pothole, November, Foreword were all about OF ending and it took me forever to realize then of course you have Garden Shed…

Flower boy is a pivotal album for me tbh. That year was special

Got money and changed. We can chalk it up to growth but I’m sure you been a fan since 09-2011 and we’ve all seen how hes switched up. On the other note he wouldn’t have seen the success he has if he hadn’t shifted his entire focus on his own branding as opposed to branding for an entire tree of niggas

Hodgy definitely hated that he got cool with everyone after being so anti industry or whatever
