I don’t really get that either, what makes them not a real fan for liking a good album? Like I’m a cole fan and I’ll defend 4YEO cause I like the music and the message and can engage in a discussion with people who dislike it. But when you get into how people are describing not liking flower boy, I get lost cause niggas not being serious lol

Like I’ve never heard a good explanation of why its not good or one of his worst besides its not experimental

I’d really go as far as to say every single song on that album was great

Feel like it's leagues ahead of whatever came before it in tyler's career in terms of a full body of art when it dropped it was like the album I always wanted tyler to drop I always had cohesiveness complaints with his music or liking a track run until a song completely throws u off but flower boy was his first album not to have that complaint for me

I honestly vibed with Cherry Bomb front to back too, but i definitely think flower boy was that for the wider audience

Cherry Bomb to me was the moment Tyler took it the next level musically but Flower Boy was where he wasn’t f***ing around or leaving any room for doubt, that was a precise ass album

Flower Boy was great to me because I love when artist have pop out and show niggas moment bc that can easily fail and make u look dumb

Like coming off an experimental era people were mixed on, and just making something undeniable

Cherry Bomb was also monumental but a lot of tracks never moved me especially the title track and keep da o's but it has some of tyler's greatest songs ever and his best outro

I didn’t like those at first or okaga but they grew on me

Okaga and Keep Da O’s are actually some of my favs now

first listen I think my favorites were 2seater and deathcamp
now my favs are okaga and pilot but I still love most of them besides keep da o's and cherry bomb

I remember being confused my first listen of cherry bomb but blow my load-smuckers was probably one of the best first listens i ever had

Loved the album on 2nd listen besides the last 2 songs which took a while to grow on me
