    I have pretty mixed feelings about Cherry Bomb. That album has absolutely gorgeous production, and still has some of his strongest tracks of his career. And I have a lot of nostalgia linked to the album

    BUT it also has a handful of tracks that just could’ve been much better . For example, his verse on RUN is dope but you can barely hear it or understand what he’s saying on the song, it’s also a waste of a Toro y Moi feature imo.

    Also Pharrell’s verse would’ve been better without the vocal effect

    I’m just really mixed on some of his creative choices on that project

    Yeah its actually crazy how good Toro’s part is but its so buried in the mix

    Run is a fantastic instrumental

    Cherry Bomb instrumentally was just greatness start to finish imo

    Listened to the instrumentals on shrooms and never had an experience quite like it

    Its not just about the lyrics the beat is f***ing immaculate

    Also the hook is really catchy even if its OD h**** lol

    I love the beat too but it's too much and the syd part irks me but I haven't heard the song in a while so idk maybe I'll like it more

    They’re not bad, but like damn bro save it for another song

    I have honestly felt the same way about his music for a minute and its frusturating cause I don't know enough music theory to actually explain what I don't like.

    ppl who like his s*** only from igor till now and then people who f*** with everything or even strictly his old s*** and not the newer, so it wouldn’t be crazy if you disliked goblin and wolf and still a fan
