Seems as though Chromakopia will continue to carry the complaints I have of all his previous albums

• bad singing
• rough mixing (i know its purposeful)
• unnecessary synth leads, cluttering up the production

but otherwise, should be an interesting and wild listen.

The singing and mixing are good

Anyone s***ting on Tyler’s mixing is crazy

His voice is smooth af

it sounds so crisp and clean though

His mixing style just takes a minute to get used to but it fits his music

Ayo’s part in this video is really clever . The fact that her cell phone turns in to a gun, basically you don’t know what these people’s intentions are when they run up to you in the street

It reminds me of Vince’s bar on his self titled album…

i think tyler would be the first to tell you his singing is bad

Flower Boy and Wolf were the only tyler albums that had completely normal mixes imo

But they fit the projects

He has some singing that sounds good to me but his singing on this song did not hit for me

like bad singing can be tasteful and work for me, kanye has done it numerous times. tyler just doesn’t and i dont know if thats because of the natural tone of his voice or what

Tyler’s singing on Best Interest was so good

His singing on I Think and Gone Gone really sold the songs to me also and Are We Still Friends

I dont think its like a technical thing just translates feeling. He usually does a good job of knowing when to get an actual singer
