Smacked VoodooJust peeped the full version of the track. Yeah it's still...don't really know what to think of it lol doesn't seem all that different from other tracks with Tyler rapping about parasocial relationships with fans, not trusting people, and trying to maneuver the world whole being famous.
Ion know just didn't leave much of a big impression on me. Video was really cool though.

That's why I don't get what you're saying, wdum by Graduation? Because Flowerboy is already that - mainstream sound to appeal to the masses compared to the rapper's previous work, album really blew them up. You won't get a more apt comparison from Tyler, Flowerboy was his Graduation
By graduation I simply mean full 100% crossover appeal. soccer moms listening to Stronger type s***. Not 911 having a billion streams on spotify. If anyone's capable of that, it's Tyler, and I think at the least he wants to have that crossover moment in hiphop to insert himself in that big convo. He cares a ton about narratives
And yeah going from an album like Flower Boy to an album like IGOR (which still had earfquake) has theatrical merit. Pulling the same move twice is not an interesting spectacle and cheapens my perspective on Tyler's ambition and how he makes executive decisions about his artistry
