Flower Boy (the album i’d recommend to anyone looking to get into tyler)
IGOR (his best songs are on this album imo)
Call Me If You Get Lost (could swap w cherry bomb, his best rapping)
Cherry Bomb (his best production ever no lie)
Wolf (honestly a lil overrated even tho its a personal classic, but wolf fans are the most annoying tyler fans. Started listening to him 2013 which isnt even early but act so entitled to s*** on fans who discovered him later, also cringiest era of fans style wise. Bunch of posers have this album as his best)
B****** (honestly classic to me, I can still listen to this album front to back)
Goblin (not as bad as it gets made out to be and has some great songs just isn’t as good as any of his other albums)

Imo him and kendrick have the best solo discography in rap, slander me now but this will be a common opinion in 5-10 years

Tyler pops up every time to show people what a real artist can be

Ye used to do that and we could say as far as some of the listening parties they do have a sort of entertainment spectacle effect i'll give him that but... the rollouts are always a mess, still some spots of creativity here and there but who knows who is doing what etc

Weeknd does this as well especially with visuals and worldbuilding/creating stories throughout multiple albums and stage shows

But there's something beautiful to the fact tyler is rapper singer producer creative director etc all that, i love it so much

I've been a Tyler fan since early OF/bastard days and I feel like Wolf is a perfected middle ground between new Tyler and old Tyler. Idk if it's his best but I can see why people might put it in that spot. Its definitely my favorite along with B****** but B****** has a lot more nostalgia value for me

Feel like Wolf is the peak of all early Tyler. It's like the album and aesthetics he had been aiming for since 2008. I feel like Cherry Bomb is that middle ground album that connects the old "eras" with the new like the passing of the torch within himself as an artist and then from there on you get Flower Boy, Igor etc. I would break it down like this

B******-Goblin-Wolf
|Cherry Bomb|
Flower Boy-Igor-CMIYGL

Now he seems to be in this pattern of doing a "pretty" album and then an "ugly" album ie. Flower=pretty, Igor=ugly, CMIYGL=pretty, Chroma=ugly? (or maybe the ultimate culmination of the two?...)
