Tyler made me a fan with his last album and I feel his point 100% on this idc
You aināt heard treehome 95 ??
Meaningless word soup itt
Canāt save the world, only thing to do is focus on yourself and improve the ones around you. Then let that spread like wildfire.
ok this nigga tyler must be on here cause he talking about ppl saying "I don't hear his music outside" which is a 1000% KTT thing
People actually say that in real life, you would know if you actually spoke to people off the internet. I see way too many people say so and so gotten this from ktt on here, this s*** is sad.

This isnāt Twitter dude stop stating the obvious

Iām not on Twitter much, sorry I donāt know the proper language to speak on an Internet forum.

ah yes because the one forum poster telling the other one about talking to people outside the internet is totally valid
Its crazy that he doesnt feel embraced seems like he gets love everywhere
People didnāt like Tyler at all until like 2017
While I get the point he's making (performative social media posts are stupid), it's kinda sad society is heading to a individualustic standpoint.
We always need community.
He always been for himself man jumps to different communities every rollout
Definition of a leech

Iām glad you know my life outside of this

Heading to it? Weāve been drowning in radical individualism in the west all my life
Edginess is what got his foot in the door. He owes his career to cultural conservatism as a counterpoint.
"I wish more people were selfish" is not the take America needs rn Tyler
EDIT: stop liking or responding to this
what an amazing interview, he made me question everything about my life LOL
but i love what he had to say about the lack of "geek culture" and IG pages that only post same ol artists
He's right about callout culture but a lot of people don't have s*** to do all the time like they stuck in s***ty jobs looking at their phone. I'm sure Tyler is doing stuff all the time cause he's rich and famous but regular people be actually working
Nigga needs to work on himself and his deep rooted insecurities before speaking on others imo
Edginess is what got his foot in the door. He owes his career to cultural conservatism as a counterpoint.
Yes it does, focus on self is how you make a true impact. People who donāt do anything productive hide behind movements to make themselves feel better and have a pseudo sense of making a difference.
so accurate
might get this tattooed on my forehead

You're right but I also think the social environment is a lot different than then. If he made Tron Cat today (and he was the same size artist as when Tron Cat first came out) it wouldn't be shocking at all unless he was a big artist (like Drake/Kendrick level). There are artists of around the same size that Tyler was at the time he made Tron Cat who have made pretty heinous s*** and just no one cares. There's a weird balance of fame and content that public perception leans on; a lot of ""canceling"" isn't motivated necessarily by the intrinsic stuff someone is saying but the relationship of the platform they have to the people around them. Social media culture is primarily about self-promotion and community status after all. A lot of reactions to artists today is also just motivated by monoculture and the modern sense of the internet, with artists bleeding over into the wrong subcultures outside of the bubble they exist in because everyone and their mother uses social media. Any controversy is everyone's controversy.
Im cryin he talking about ktt
Good interview overall just wished he touched more on his collabs and how they came to be

as much as ppl are gonna attack what he says, he was a person who TRULY got cancelled, at around 30:00 in the interview he talks about not being allowed onto planes and going into the airport seeing photos of himself everywhere. someone who experienced what he did and had his life & career impacted that heavily obviously wouldn't support what's going on right now
The "anti-sjw/anti-cancel culture" crowd themselves never care about any of those issues (especially not billionaires getting richer lmao) until it's time to deflect from the topic at hand
Dababy shouldn't be relevant but he is hence why he is being talked about. That's the price of fame unfortunately
Iām not defending the āanti-SJWā conservatives because as another guy said in this thread, they used to cancel people a lot, especially in the 80s. These guys are hypocritical and act as defenders of free speech because itās useful to them, it allows them to give the impression that theyāre against the establishment. Which is exactly why an idiot like Trump became president.
Someone famous isnāt someone relevant. Someone famous is just someone famous.
So much to respond to and unpack here.
2. For starters, you can care about multiple things at once. Meaning all because youāre vocal about one thing doesnāt mean you donāt care about or support movements for others.
2. The context in which Tyler is speaking does not correlate to DaBabyās situation and this isnāt people bringing up old s*** to ācancelā him. It literally just happened. Itās current behavior.
3. It does matter in the grand scheme of things. The same homophobic rhetoric that people like DaBaby and Boosie spread gets people severely hurt and killed. These mindsets justify people to act heinous towards a group of people who deserve to live like the rest of us.
I disagree. People don't care about multiple things at once at all. What I got from Tyler's s*** is that people want to cancel s*** when they really don't care they just want a sense of power. I wish people would want to stop real life injustice. Not da baby saying homophobic s*** on stage. I wish people used there power for more important things then stopping a black dude from getting festivals. I promise you. It does not matter. The gay niggas around me including myself aren't pressed if da baby like us or not.
