Its crazy the only tyler album i didnt listen to first day was b******

Its not that retrospective tbh I remember it being considered disappointing at the time, even I was never a huge fan of it. I listened to the album a million times bc hes my favorite artist but ive never rated it higher than like a 7 even at my peak enjoyment. But people do too much acting like its the worst album ever

it is definitely retrospective. most people loved it when it dropped and it got sooo much hype and exposure cuz even the people who didn’t like it couldn’t help but talk about it and the horrorcore subject matter. you can’t rewrite history lmao.

barely anyone said they didn’t like that album until Tyler himself said he didn’t like it, then it became the cool thing to do to rank it at the bottom of his discog lists. this is factual

I'm not trying to hear a teen rap about raping and eating women in 2021. Half the album is damn near unlistenable because of all the edginess and T just trying to shock the listener for the sake of it

The only thing I would change about this album is put the conductor tag at the beginning

I rank Goblin last on his discography and I genuinely think as a project it is overall his weakest when it comes to quality

Boppin B****, B**** Suck D***,Radicals and all the horrocore lyrics really hold the album back

I actually f*** with Radicals but the other two trash

I like the parts in Radicals when the beat goes out and Tyler is just venting, and the outro is very dope

But the hook and the hype parts just doesn't resonate or sound good to me anymore once I got out of high school

there was a moment back then when I thought Tyler would be the next Insane Clown Posse and that's it lol...like obviously he raps better and all that I just mean between the shock raps, cult following, acting wild in public, and even doing his own yearly music festival...that being said clearly he's grown into a completely different monster (in a good way)

Nah I was there it was always mixed, of course there were more people who liked it and OF was the s*** at the time but there were a lot of fans who were f***ing with B****** more, like a lot I remember those debates every day of goblin vs b****** online and there being a strong team b******. there are even reviews from that time that could show there was disappointment with the album, its not like it was just a loved album that people turned on there were always people who didn’t like it, and it didnt age the best so that grew, and there are still some people who like it so yeah

Fishtail is like the song that was missing between Wilshire and Safari. Feels like the actual ending that sums it all up and Safari being an outro that looks to the future
