Not saying I have an issue with straight, gay or bi, flower boy probably my second favourite behind this

Eh I think on wolf and even cherry bomb Tyler was still mastering his sound.
Flower boy, Igor and this new LP were polished front to back and it took him several albums to get to that point but now it’s clear he carefully crafts the project and there’s just that extra attention to detail in the lyrics and production that push it past those earlier albums.

I caught some of these, but I’ve not had as much of a chance to have it on repeat as I’d have liked because I’ve had a busy weekend, but my point is that most of the lyrics on this are about females rather than males

Wolf honestly did get much better reception than anything before it did, a lot of people started taking him seriously after it. It just didnt get as much bc he was still acting so goofy plus it still has some of those old flaws

I literally said yesterday Tyler have been steadily improving with every release but I don’t think there’s that much of a quality difference between wolf and flower boy personally, not enough to warrant the critical turnaround it seemed to have

Wolf had a few trash songs on it whereas Flower Boy I can't think of a single trash song. Some songs better then others, but nothing that flat out makes me think "wow this is ass".

I think Tyler also became a better rapper from Wolf-Flower Boy. More experimental with his flows and delivery.
