I don’t really listen to either anymore tbh, bottom 2 Tyler releases because they were the awkward stages of Tyler gaining fame and almost losing fame, those are the 2 albums he was being self conscious about what he was doing instead of authentic

Some level of abrasiveness has ALWAYS been a part of Tyler’s work, Flower Boy is the only album where he avoids it at all costs. I don’t believe Tyler truly wanted to make an album that clean and inoffensive
