Idk though I still feel like 2015-2016 wasn't a bad year for Tyler. Coachella, GOLF S***, Cherry Bomb, The GOLF Media App, Jellies

But I guess most people hated CB and he was banned from the UK that year and had to Tour with 3 other artists to sell tickets so idk

whether people wanna admit it or not, he is in a sense.

Like it's easy to say no but there was a time when you couldn't be in a young collective in rap & NOT get those Odd Future comparisons.

I remember ASAP & Pro Era both had to deal with that

Ok my track by track opinions about 5 listens in

SIR B-I loved this beat already when West was on it, but Tyler killed it too, very luscious way to start the album.

Carso-Amazing track, hard drums, good flexes but really showed some strong emotions.

LEMONHEAD-One of my favs,reminds me of Wolf in a good way or what he was tryna do w some of those OF Tape Vol 2 beats, loove Dugg on this track.

WUSYANAME-Both verses snapped, loooved the hook and outro too great beat pick.

LUMBERJACK-Tyler talking his s*** w the Domo adlibs so hard

HOT WIND BLOWS-Tyler went in but Wayne man what the f*** he bodied that s***

MASSA - 10/10 track

RUNITUP! -Beautiful track, that speech is so inspiring and Teezo sounds amazing and the drums feel so Pharrell in a good way.

MANIFESTO- DOMS X TYLER such an underrated combo! So happy to hear Doms on here he always brought a great energy out of Tyler because Tyler snapped so f***ing hard, one of his best verses ever

SWEET/I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE- Sweet is an instant 10/10 some Outkast s***, already a fav tyler track. I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE is some full blown basa nova but that verse at the end is so relatable it f***ing hurts. Twin I ah neva tell @bruntz

MOMMA TALK- actually really like this skit i feel like I can see where tyler gets his personality from and it reminded me of my mom

RISE! -I f*** with the verses, good track but not fully sold my current least fav but will probably grow on me

BLESSED-Pharrell IMM skit type vibes, super inspiring though

JUGGERNAUT-Hard as f***, love the intro and all 3 of them snapped. Love hearing all 3 of them rap like that fr especially P

WILDSHIRE- 10/10, masterpiece, speechless…

SAFARI- Great way to end it especially after the emotional moment

I guess I didnt realize how much I like it, def on par w his last 3 just wish some songs had more length tbh. Not fully sold on Rise! But other than that I like the rest
