Sheesh some strong opinions in here. Kanye’s 2004- 2013 run is undeniable as someone stated earlier it’s the gold standard. However I do think that from Wolf all the way to latest release of dttg & whatever else Tyler drops over the next 5 years that we will have to really take a deep look at his run

In reality, Kanye’s legacy will always be tainted by the Nazi stuff.
As long as Tyler doesn’t get in serious trouble, it avoids having similar POVs as Kanye, he’ll probably be remembered more fondly, and his discography will get more spins

anecdotally I could say I don’t know anyone who listens to Tyler at all so what’s that worth one of them is in the pantheon of greatest ever popular musicians the other is Tyler the creator
