A lot of us were there when he first came up and saw all the corny s*** he did to get put on. Most of his early music was trash and was carried by the shock value and visuals along with his antics outside of music i.e twitter.

It wasn’t until he figured out how to make music that had more substance that he finally dropped the edgy s*** but since the beginning til now he acts like some holier than thou person casting judgement on other artists. Like the nigga was s***ting on Ian when he was rapping about r*pe, posting himself in KKK s*** and made black face shirts for his white fans like sit the f*** down nigga you ain’t one to talk

MOST of his early music was trash? yeah ok lol

goblin is some hot ass even looking at it with some 2011 goggles on.

with that said a lot of his pre-goblin output was cool. his production on Domo's rolling papers, Earl self titled, OF Tape 1, and other loosies. Obviously B******
Most ppl only were exposed to Goblin back then tho (horrible first impression lol), maybe OFT 2 so i get this take

The songs and videos he blew up from were legitimately good songs and videos.
    Yonkers and She

Yonkers video did have shock value, but it was legitimately a good, well made video done with basically no budget.

Most would say his music started getting taken seriously around WOLF, not Flower Boy. WOLF is u start to see hints of where his sound is now.

On top of all that, Most of the Odd Future fans gravitated to a specific member, and listened to other members by association. If you were an Earl fan, you were probably a Tyler fan to some degree. If you were a Mellowhype and Domo fan, you probably liked Tyler somewhat. And Frank to extent as well, even though his fanbase wasn’t as intertwined with the OF brand as the others.

I’m still a fan of his music just not of his personality. My issue is he can’t speak on s*** until he addresses his past and stops being a pretentious d*** head. Never said I wanted him gone lol.
Also if niggas don’t accept his apology and want him gone that’s still valid. Its Tyler’s fault for saying he “moonwalks” over people tryna “cancel” him rather than take accountability for it.

So because he did some s*** in the early 2010s he can’t say it’s weird that Ian is cosplaying as a black person?

Niggas going to push Tyler to drop a Country album lol.
