on “your turn” i really had the thought that travis scott and ty dolla sign albums are the dream version of a dj khaled album. these are the ultimate versions of collaboration.
i love that for his entire career, ty has always had heavily collaborative albums but it always added and never took away from it. one of his best attributes is know who to put on what. he doesn’t get enough of the respect as a curator artist like kanye or travis or tyler who have a ton of features that are apart of the story

nobody is saying dj khaled is talented or comparable to them as artists, i’m saying i WISH he had the taste and ear to make albums that had collaborations that are as left field but perfect as what ty, tyler, travis and kanye have done their entire career.
