it’s ouroborus. my issue is y’all act like it doesn’t come from anywhere, naturally when you’re smacked in the face your reaction is to return it back. every action has an opposite one. MLK was peaceful the entire time and while he was very successful in the way he handled that whole thing EVEN HE started to become militant towards the end, he realized the validity of violence and then he got killed, Malcolm X on the other hand became serene and realized the peaceful approach was just as valid as his was, two sides of the same coin.
im not racist irl myself, but im not going to cry over racism against ignorant white people on a Kanye forum, especially since most of these niggas are closeted racists, have stereotypes against black people, and make parodies of black culture 24/7. that is absolutely the LEAST of my worries. you’re that concerned about racism on the internet go to reddit.
Just because it's reasonable for someone to act a certain way doesn't make it moral. You could also justify all of the horrible crimes committed by abused/outcasted people by the same logic. On the violence issue that was a very different context back then compared to today. Imho the black people in that era where justified to do some very crazy s*** that I don't believe would be necessary today. The only violence-esque stuff i would advocate today for black people is protesting,counter-protesting and gun culture.
I feel like assuming all white people are racist is pretty defeatist and just leads to a self fulfilling prophecy where you just assume where they are all racist. I have been there before and understand why you feel that way but it feels better to not have to care or anticipate what some idiot thinks of me.
