Jun 12, 2022Wish I liked this as much as others. It’s def in my top albums of the year list for now but it might not stay by the end of the year.
Lyrics are absolutely amazing, but it’s not a standout album musically to me. Way too much twang and not really digging the fact that all tracks just blend together without much energy or emotional oomf behind them besides on a few tracks that resonated with me (biggest ones by far being Simulation Swarm and the title track). Maybe it would work better for me if it was 30 minutes, but 80 minutes is just a gargantuan task for me to get through lol.
Happy for those of you that are enjoying it, and like I’d totally get people liking it as much as something like War on D****, but the whole classic talk is confusing to me tbh :dno:
