I'm just talking strictly performing. Add the fame on top of that it makes s*** just much more rigorous and taxing both physically and mentally.
And I get it, because to the average bear, that is like, the actual dream to do. But from someone that is on both sides of the table, the grass is definitely very much not green on the inside and WE DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY THESE ARTISTS HAVE.
nah i have a good idea of what working in the industry entails, and yes its hard it’s a real job i’m not discounting that but it’s a lot easier than when i was a janitor or when i was working construction

Actually, the only reason it’s easier is because it’s something they enjoy and it pays a lot unless you mean like physically which yes for sure. It’s a lot more volatile of a job that’s more high stakes and significantly requires way more skill, I’d say mentally keeping up a music career and touring is definetely harder than being a janitor. There’s a lot more variables. Especially off the fact that, only a select amount of people can even do the basic step of making good enough music to get there.

in a world where niggas was ready to overthrow s***, we would understand everyone is getting victimized in their respective industries and should advocate for better treatment and better pay across the board man I know niggas that have had depressive episodes and panic attacks that toured with superstars.
You just seeing it from a skewed perspective because you worked jobs you hate but haven't worked your passion long enough to the point it BECOMES A JOB.
