Its interesting like always with Lynch, but i also feel like i have to warm up to it... again, like always with Lynch

I liked how we just get thrown into this world where Lynch immediately lays out new mysteries for us. Can’t say i feel like i know where this is going at all, which is great. The arm evolved into a f***ing tree? And theres a billionaire who’s funding some kind of project that seems like it’s a portal between the two worlds?

I really only have 1 complaint so far, which is the effects that look really bad and dated, especially considering it only came out fairly recently. Somebody told me that it was intended to look cheap but what it did for me so far is ruin the moments that were supposed to be scary. Sure everything is Lynch going full weird mode out of the gates, and i love to see that, but i hope to get those moments that scared me as much as some stuff in the original run and FWWM

Let’s see where Lynch goes with this, i trust him

It kinda broke the immersion for me tbh, i didn’t feel scared at all i just found it to be funny and strange

the scares involving BOB or a screaming Laura Palmer in the black lodge were more effective to me personally

But im only 2 episodes in, and besides that minor complaint im liking it a lot so far and expecting it to grow a lot on me as well. I didnt start really loving Twin Peaks until the first season was over
