Love all the episodes in season three that end in musical performances

The best one was in the middle of the episode though

can’t believe he did s3 bro. ik he’s a legacy director, hallmark in american cinema, funded by a private network who can essentially release any content they want. but outside the masterful direction, dude gotta be a genius to convince investors and execs to be on board with his ideas.

i don’t think a ye and lynch collab would happpen but man a nigga can dream

He was supposed to direct the video for Blood on the Leaves, but couldn’t come up with any ideas he thought Ye would like

    Also

We’ll play each other songs in the studio, and once in a blue moon he’ll get super excited about something. The last time was with Kanye West’s Yeezus. His favorite track was ā€œBlood on the Leaves,ā€ but the first thing I played him was ā€œI’m in It,ā€ and he just looked over at me and his eyes got really big. That’s his reaction when he gets excited about something: He gets that serious death stare and just goes, ā€œFuckin’ A, this is killer.ā€

    I FORGOT ABOUT THAT

blood in the leaves lynch video would have been crazy

almost wanna believe he wasn’t sure how to tackled the racial connotations but who knows. felt like he wouldn’t force anything but still come out with something super powerful.
