I mean... it does get a little bit all over the place but not more than the first season, bruh S1 finale had like 10 different story taking place at the same time

Just checked my ID Card and I can 100% say it doesnt say David Lynch on it Im entitled to my opinion, I just think S2 expands on everything set up in S1 for the better

I get the same feeling with Lost, everybody says the show goes downhill from season 3 until the end but I find myself enjoying this part way more than the first 2 seasons... I just dont get it

Lynch's hatred doesn't stem from the fan's hating it. ABC basically made him reveal Laura's killer (you can click on the spoiler, you've already gotten to this part) and that was something he never wanted to do. He kinda soured on it after that and stepped away from the show creatively until the finale.

But you do bring up a good point about him then going on to make an entire movie about Laura's killing (maybe don't click on this spoiler)

The reveal is so fkn brilliant.

I rly enjoy every episode of the original run, there are definitely lots of flaws after the reveal and some sub-plots are just kinda insignificant to the central mystery but even those I love for their campiness tbh. Overall most of my favorite moments are def in S2, all the characters get much more room to breathe
