No doubt, some plot lines were questionable and borderline stupid but the anticipation to see what the mystery behind The Return was had me engaged throughout the 22 episodes. I guess that has to do more with me personally but I also feel like the negativity towards season 2 is definitely fuelled more by what critics & hardcore fans had to say - which is warranted and fair.

as someone that watched this casually, i do think the season 2 slump is very real, the plot points in the middle of season 2 are quite terrible compared to the rest, maybe thats why it felt worse to me, normally all the subplots were super interesting to me, but during a few eps there were storylines which i didnt care for at all

nah for sure 10-17 was definitely the low point of the show but I enjoyed being in that world which made it easier. What I meant was that I’m sure If I rewatch those episodes again and knowing the general dislike, it’d be a lot worse than the first time.
