The Return has so many amazing moments. This rewatch is hitting.

The 'It is happening again' scene in season 2

some of the best sound design of any season of any show tbh

Intense scene. I love the reactions to this 'disturbance' particularly Bobby's.

I also love how this scene echoes when Annie decides to enter Miss Twin Peaks and especially at the end of Part 17 when The World Spins comes on, marking another grave failure for Coop. incredibly haunting stuff.

Dark Space Low makes me feel like I have a giant crater in my stomach. I love it.

Jeffries scenes, the ambient tracks during the White Lodge and "We live inside a dream" scenes, and the Sarah scene in P17 are all so good.

For excellent reason. I think the closing credits are also top of top tier. Something about the homecoming picture juxtaposed with this track is unbelievably unnerving. The more you learn about Laura it cuts deeper and deeper.

This song also literally never gets old. I was upset watching The Return for the first time because of it's absence but I ultimately I appreciate the decision, it feels even heavier now.
