memories of murder is really good
from what I hear, the king is just another overly long mid Netflix film
The fact that I've never seen anyone talk about On Cinema on KTT is a crime. Probably the most ambitious web series I have ever seen. Was never huge on Tim Heidecker, but he put together a masterpiece.

You end up watching Memories of Murder? If so what’d you think?
Dark is a great show on Netflix, it’s kinda like a more realistic and intense Stranger Things, I recommend watching it with German audio and English subtitles (it’s filmed in german and pisses me off when the lips don’t line up with the sound, so i just use subtitles)
Currently watching prodigal son.
Feels like seven the movie in tv show format. Definitely inspired by David Fincher
I watched M yesterday and it's really impressive how good it is. Especially when u compare it to other movie's from that era, if i didnt knew better i would've guessed it was made 20 years later.
so im tryin to take this fine chick Ive been mackin on for a while now out to the movies but theres literally zero good movies out rn
do I wait until the christmas movies hit or just see something s***ty?

A classic.
But I'd say there are also a decent number of other films from the time that hold up just as well too, if not better. The 30s is an incredible decade for film, and the early 30s have several timeless masterpieces
