im not sure that it's really doing anything for it tbh, they moved away from the post hardcore stuff quite a bit and id have to imagine a lot of their early fans probably aren't very happy about it. a lot of this feels like its very like... store-friendly music. like theres straight up jangle pop on it if i remember correctly. i could be wrong though idk, one of my friends has been a fan of them forever and i'm kind of just going off of what he says

I think the difference is Turnstile doesn't sound watered down at all. Most of the time when an artist goes this route and gets more popular they sound very watered down and generic. Turnstile just isn't that
