comparing ovo 40 illness to 2Pac AI is abhorrently stupid
disrespecting the dead will always be different than disrespecting the living
Especially when you are making a caricature of them
again this also applies to 2Pac hologram

2Pac died young and his brother has to hear his dead brothers voice on an instagram reel and tweet
Chiraq is a reference to a Frank Ocean song
Nigga I helped create gun violence awareness day here with te4ens that were friends with Hadiya Pendleton
“Chiraq” is a portmanteau of the words “Chicago” and “Iraq” and is often used to emphasize the severity of crime within the American city of Chicago by comparing the city to the war-torn Middle Eastern nation of Iraq, which, since 2014, has been in a period of civil war primarily between the Iraqi government and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
Frank furthers this comparison by calling life in Chicago similar to that in Palestine, a Middle Eastern territory riddled with border disputes and persistent violence stemming from the creation of the State of Israel. However, Ocean may also be comparing the plight of the Palestinians, who struggle to define their land, their governance and their people with the Israelis, to the African American community in Chicago, who have increasingly clashed with the Chicago Police Department as the result of brutalities committed against African Americans.

Chiraq isnt a joke it unifies the struggles
"lemme see u start a go fund me for shondales mother"
You speaking to a Nigga who helps in his community
who has openly spoken against a lot of drill music negativity for 12 years
Oh, y'all in here going to war
I am done man is unserious. I get being a Drake fan but thats doing a lot to not be able to acknowledge not notifying the family is foul
I have said Chief Keef, Durk, FBG Duck , Von are all wrong when dissing the dead . It has brought a terrible energy to them and at times has cost them their life
why would I want to see the cycle continue?

I get that but in other forms of media like comedy you don't necessarily need to tell someone's family about a joke unless you need permission for sale. In the same vein of parody I look at this as something that's meant to humiliate and antagonize someone who's affinity to Pac. For the intention I absolutely have no problem with how it was used and what it used for. The family can feel their way and that's valid but they don't own Pac, he was his own person and martyr in some ways

a comedian isn't different than a music artist using something for a beef to you?

Is Drake a comedian?
the verse itself is a caricature of 2Pac more than it is of Kendrick himself

Both the skit and the song/verse are parody’s to me tbh

I would say he's had moments like hosting the Espy's, SNL, and his video for No Guidance that one could make an argument that comedy is within his forms of media. Year, but he's using the angle of speaking to Kendrick from his own idol's perspective. He didn't degrade Pac or make him say anything out of line, using the shock value of voice and presence

Not if it's not true

I am saying using 2Pac AI to preemptively bring up accusations of pedophilia ( again I dont think its true) or grooming to yourself is not insane to you

It would be if the allegations were true, but in this case there's countless people hoping that it is true so it could be used in retaliation. So I don't have a problem with how or who used it, which I don't believe to be true either. I didn't separate music and comedy all that much because they both have albums and overlap. Patrice explained it really well, where we all should be afforded the opportunity to make these kind of comments in arenas/situations that have been cultivated in such a way. Whether we agree or not, that's another issue
