I hope he does not but Trump could definitely win this. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not paying attention. I feel like his base is as energized as they have ever been now that they think this is some kind of attempt on Trump’s life. All Trump needs is to take one of the 3 “blue wall” states from Biden.

That being said Biden could still win if he wins Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The people in those states know how important this is. That right there is going to energize people who stayed home in 2016 thinking they were in safe blue states. All 3 of those states also voted for all democratic Senators and Governors in 2018. Arizona is also in play. That will help Biden if he does not win Wisconsin or even Minnesota.

I dont think the sympathy votes are actually a thing. The only people feeling sympathy are his supporters and they are already voting for him regardless.
