That’s the thing, I love someone else featuring The Weeknd, but I hate The Weeknd featuring someone else.
Able’s voice is always something I want to hear, so I love it on others’ tracks, but his own music and its atmosphere, world, aesthetic, etc. are so hard for other artists to replicate or even just fit naturally into when they join in, that it usually just feels like they’re pulling me away from what Able is making.
Like, Tyler and Wayne are both GOATs to me, but their contributions are without a doubt my least favorite parts of Dawn FM. With both of them, it just feels like suddenly the song is just something else now, and I have to put up with that until Able comes back.
