  • Looking at this catalogue, Don Toliver’s run this decade has been very commendable, a solid album almost every year

Trav used to be like that too but now it’s easy to forget we’ve technically only had 1 Travis Scott album this whole decade

Don underappreciated for sure but I'm still gonna take trav

Yeah travis has gotten pretty formulaic and reliant on that god forsaken vocal preset but I'd argue that he doesn't have a single bad album

I know people on here love to hate Utopia, and it's certainly his worst album, but I wouldn't say it's anywhere near bad, not to mention it was a massive hit by every metric

Once again though Dons been putting out respectable s***

  • Are you asking of that list - obviously Travis
Or this year alone - obviously Don
    ?

Travis overall, but I like Don’s last album over Utopia

  • Travis not remotely close

Travis overall, but I like Don’s last album over Utopia

Yea I think Octane is a better listen than Utopia for sure

  • Don just started to figure it out with Hardstone Psycho, that’s his best s*** to me. Octane propelled him into a new level though. Idk how it did when it feels like a step back from the progress he was making, but I’m not complaining cause he is just that good

But none of his other projects really stack up to any one of Travis’ u can think of in my humble opinion

It’s weird cause Don is way more talented. Like the range he has in his voice is insane. He could shapeshift and do whatever he wants with it lol

But it took him so long to put it all together for one full album for me. Then when he did he couldn’t really keep it together imo

Trav's weakest album (to me) is BITTSM.

But that’s only because of it being bogged down by so many slow songs

  • i dont think i have ever listened to don toliver

  • surpassed him with life of a don

  • is this a serious question? ASTROWORLD alone is enough, s***, birds in the trap is better than p much all don albums (and i love don)

    You’re describing Travis

  • Travis sweep

  • Most of Don Tolivers albums feel very forgettable for me, even though he’s talented

There’s just something about his music that feels very sterile and it just doesn’t linger emotionally. I know you could say the same for Travis Scotts music for sure, but it leaves more of an impression on the presentation front for me

    Corporate Mór

    You’re describing Travis

I think Travis has shown that he is almost just as vocally talented as Don, but he seemed to have slowed down on putting that on display since like Astroworld for some reason. Now he’s like more rap heavy with that same autotune preset that is drowned in electricity and stifles his rough natural voice that used to work perfectly with the autotune smh
