He can't do that because there were never plans for that. Remember that K-pop was the lead single and was supposed to be the smash. Up until the last moments, Travis didn't even know if Drake would be on the album because Drake apparently sent his verse 4 hours before the album dropped.

He was able to make other versions for K-pop because he had time but couldn't for Meltdown because it dropped on short notice, so now he's doing every other thing he can do to push it.

It's funny to me because he played himself. If he'd credited Drake from jump and did all these efforts to push it as a single earlier, it might have had a chance. Instead, he pushed the Beyoncè song as a single instead and is only now doing all these shenanigans for Meltdown like it'll change anything.
