May 3rd, 2021:
During an interview with Our Generation Music, frequent collaborator Mike Dean mentions how Travis is "getting back to that sound" during a discussion about Owl Pharaoh. . . Suggesting that Utopia may feature more self-production from Travis.

May 13th, 2021:
During an interview with TheNeedleDrop, Mike Dean confirms he is involved with the album but when asked if it's a continuation of Astroworld's sound he refuses to make a comment; the album's sound is highly secretive.

May 14th, 2021:
Future posts a photo of him, Travis & Kanye at the studio together. All three of them are wearing masks, so a music video may have also been filmed. Travis is seen wearing a face mask again at Disneyland later that week.

May 20th, 2021:
Cactus Jack affiliate and hair stylist Marcus Phillip Hatch posts photos of Travis filming a potential music video on a beach. A Cactus Jack mask is also seen.

May 22nd, 2021:
Travis tweets out "this s*** gon move mountains" referring to Utopia.

May 24th, 2021:
Travis tweets a photo captioned "type A" - the photo seems to display a potential music video set he is constructing.

May 29th, 2021:
A new snippet surfaces from presumably a female friend of the Cactus Jack crew as Chase B is seen in the background of the footage.

June 8th, 2021:
Travis Scott, Drake, Future, Metro Boomin, and Cashxo in the same studio.

June 8th, 2021:
A snippet of a new song by Travis called "Knife" surfaces. The snippet comes from GULLY, a new movie out by long-time Travis Scott music video director Nabil. The song didn’t make the movie’s official soundtrack, leaving room for the possibility this (what sounds like finished) song makes it to UTOPIA. The track is produced by Wheezy and Bobby Raps.

Crazy how we're coming up to 3 years since an album from him (most likely will surpass that too, no way this drops before August 3rd 2021)
