I’ll give you that to an extent but Travis is just too uninteresting for it to matter and the execution is way off on certain aspects. Also 3500 don’t hold up at all for me and feels more like a cheap Kanye imitation, sounds like diet cruel summer. The TI narration too. And definitely a couple real skips, that Weeknd joint sucks

I’m taking the TI narration over all the dumbass skits on Kanye’s first 2 albums. And I’d definitely take TI talking for 15 seconds over Chris Rocks 25 minute part on Blame Game lmao

I’m also not a big fan of the Weeknd track and it’s probably my least favorite on the album but a lot of people love that song. Imo there is no album with zero skips. You can’t please everyone with every track

People say AstroFest tragedy caused the huge delay in his output, but let's be real here, this guy was already three years in without dropping an album by the time the tragedy happened. Astroworld was cool but it wasn't "Blonde" or even "DAMN". It really hasn't aged well and is crammed with filler. One of the worst engineered mainstream albums ever made to boot. The idea that he felt he could rest on his laurels after that album is hilarious to me. It's Fortnite music

At this point, the buzz from Astroworld is gone, the few loosies he put out afterwards all sucked, his features blow, he doesn't even co-produce anymore, and he is consistently the weakest part of anything he is involved with. This literally happened after two years lol. Absolutely baffling how far and fast this guy fell. 2018-2019 he had it on lock and then by 2021 he basically lost it all.

Utopia is definitely going to be ass too and will underperform commercially.

Power verses are ridiculously flames but f*** verses and lyrics, at least Ye actually has a personality travis is lifeless

You’re crazy the skits on ye albums aren’t even bad but I’ll give you the Chris rock one. Still better than the corny TI s*** to me, I just can’t take an album with that narration serious lol. Like at least the Kanye skits are supposed to be goofy, the TI s*** is like dead serious

I have zero respect for Travis Scott fans, I’m convinced you have to be a really surface level person to fall for his fake creative act

Dudes really be listening to him because of his proximity to Ye or because he has some extra synths on his s*** acting like he’s above the rest of the trap rappers when he’s probably the worst one. But no he got Mike Dean so he’s “one of the good ones”

It’s a safe album to praise for hypebeasts who want to be in on the “banger” side of rap but in the safe context of a Kanye protege with a pretentious artsy shell

This lmao, Kanye has like a solid chunk of the albums in my all time top 10-12 list (MBDTF, LR, Yeezus) and I could barely make it through his last 2 albums

Not even mentioning the whole Nazi/Nick Fuentes arc and his “feud” with Pete Davidson which were completely embarrassing
