he's cool with interscope for the most part with the exception of owning his masters. he more had problems with mad luv/ benny blanco's label that signed him. at least that's what he said in an interview before all this s*** happened

It’s funny I’ve always thought dude was talented. But his music was lacking something and I think it’s two things. Originality and content. I think the originality thing is able to be looked over if it sounds good but the content thing is what I never got outta his music. Just wasn’t relatable or just felt like songs had no real personal stuff attached to it.

They really f***ed up and gave him the content to rap about. That’s why this album is so good. You feel what he’s saying on this s***. Hella emotions involved. That’s why I f*** with this album (and it sounds like a drake album so can’t go wrong there🤷🏿‍♂️)
