Lmfao naw bro... Eminem was crying about the critical reception of an album that sold 300k

Listen, Love em or Hate em this album is amazing, he did his thing and responded to the people who turned against him and addressed his relationship with Meg.

This album will definitely memorable for simple fact that he responded with a whole project instead of going on social media.

Yeah but both used negative comments that they saw online to give them something to talk about and replied with some "Fuck me? F*** YOU!" type energy

This is long but f*** it.

Crazy how if you go on both Tory’s IG and The Shaderoom IG, you’ll see hundreds of comments and thousands of likes from black women who were in support of him or his album. There was also many women supporting him under the post about him speaking for himself at 9pm. Before the album even came out or him making any type of statement about all that has happened. If you even click on the supportive comments from black men, you’ll see thousands of black women liking those comments as well.

Yet rather than trying to even slightly view this situation objectively and realize that it’s just some PEOPLE in general who listened to the album and liked it or maintain their support for him, people like this turn everything into a straight black men issue.

If you disagree with anyone supporting the album or Tory then cool. That’s 100% fine. But your stance should be “fuck anyone who likes his album or supports him.” But instead, people with this mentality bypass the thousands of black women publicly showing support in some way (or any other group of people) and automatically turn everything into a “how can I exclusively make straight black men be at fault for this” type situation.

They’ll even conveniently not see all the black men saying f*** Tory’s album and that they aren’t listening to it or supporting him at all. Because those type of things don’t feed into the narratives they’ve created in their minds.

And while these type of people try to flip every situation into something that proves that black men hate black women (which is an idiotic idea to try to uniformly place on a group of millions of people), what’s really going on is many of them hate or have negative feelings for straight black men and are projecting their hatred and negativity onto us as a whole. Even though they have only directly engaged with much less than 1% of black men personally, for some reason they feel as though they have enough personal experience or information to make these type of wild ass blanket statements.

This guy and anyone like him is a f***ing idiot. And anyone who matches this guy’s energy with hateful, blanket statements about gay people or black women is a f***ing idiot too. And who the f*** is this goofy ass nigga to act like he knows that no gay black men listened to and supported the album or Tory? Looking at some people’s reaction to all of this is like spending a day at the circus.

Thanks for reading my small essay. I may or may not respond if anyone quotes it.

idk how much more I can keep stressing how bad and horrendous social media has become when it comes to s*** like this. more than ever now, everyone wanna have an opinion and make it seem like it's factual. sometimes you just need to shut the f*** up. that tweet u posted is cringe b lol like nobody cares how u feel shatired

I listened to the album and ill prolly listen to it again. ill wait to hear what tory lanez has to say from his side. not cause im defending him, but let's hear his side too.

again, sm is the worst. I try to ignore comments like the one above as much as possible.

I hate how quickly people hope to cancel these men nowadays. Why would you hope it’s true rather than hope that he actually didn’t do it? Until we have a court ruling he’s innocent

This is a gamble from Tory realistically, if he's fully innocent this is our first hiphop classic in years... if not, you already know what's gonna happen.

Id say his studio albums are usually a good mix of singing/rapping. the chixtapes are full-on rnb, new toronto mixtape series are full-on rap. this one is mostly rap too though with some singing here and there
