After reflecting on this album throughout the day, I realized how absurd on so many levels it is.

First of all it has "hip hop classic" bait all over it, it's actually super ridiculous - it was a surprise release, it's a self titled project (uses his government name, thus makes you think it's a super personal album).. sounds familar? Then let me add the last ingredient - a baby photo on the cover.

It's presented as this confessional, intimate album where he also addresses relevant sociopolitical issues and mental health. He even mentions Chadwick Boseman's death. There is a whole song where he just talks about how successful, relevant and loved he is, how he's the realest and those who hate him are all just fake and lame. There is a lot of talk about faith and higher power. On one song he even says God is using Megan to test his faith and endurance.

This is disgusting on so many levels it's insane and I realized it'll be looked back at as one of the weirdest albums ever released. Just weird and creepy af.

If Tory ends up flopping or going to jail after this album, then he basically just wiped his whole discography up to that point. It'll basically go down as THE album that defines who Tory Lanez was. The album that people refer to when they want to say - you DON'T want your career to end up like this guy.
