I’ve been doubting the story ever since she started doing Op-Eds about ambiguous topics like protecting black women.

A valid topic but its PR101 to shift the conversation to a larger social issue.

That way people have to preface their statements and make clear they are not attacking the affected party at large and it also tamps down criticism for fear of being labeled as a bigot.
