LA is a team, like the Yanks, that spends top dollar to retain a good and solid contender, and it works, while there is no salary cap (or floor!), ruining the parity a fair bit. unlike the yanks, it works in their favour. big cities attract the goats, while cities like toronto are used for leverage

The Dodgers don't just out-spend teams, they out-smart them too. The Dodgers have benefited from having deep pockets, but also a great farm system, smart decision making, and good management by Roberts. Toronto, Philly, NY all have high payrolls too.

Yeah as much as I root for their downfall their organization is well ran and they found a loophole.

I'm a Dodgers fan (born & raised) so I'm bias of course lol, but they've been good for so long because of how well the franchise is run.
