I feel like one of my favorite aspects of Ye’s early work especially CD and LR is his ability to relate issues among the common man, his own community, and just society at large with his own personal trials and tribulations
Unfortunately that has manifested within the past 2 decades into believing that Kanye facing backlash for coming @ that model as him being cancelled
was talking bout this w a now ex kanye fan at work today
even some of his greatest hits were very personal and let us in on his life but made you feel like he understood you too
power, stronger, through the wire, touch the sky etc
but for the last few years its just been him speaking down from an ivory tower making corny dad jokes about his own headlines and billionaire struggles, even if you like that content it's redundant
