funny how one of the first adjectives people use to describe young thug is influential but when it comes to chief keef people threat him as a complete afterthought

BMW was always mid tier purrp to me personally but w Dark Angels/BLR Pt 2 he really hit a second prime. I’m not gonna argue on the writing but that’s never been purrps main bag but the lazy delivery he started doing worked so well for the dark trap sound

Like here it’s easy to be like oh he’s just rapping like he barely cares but it actually elevates the content like crazy. It makes perfect sense if u think about it that a song this violent also sounds this dejected

I think his trajectory is a little more detailed than that. To me he was a genius in 2010-12, burned out for a few years, came back with a cool sound in 2015 that nearly captured his full potential and then settled as a polarizing internet schizo artist shortly after the vlunt campaign immersed fully into all corners of the industry

I would like to call his acknowledgment/involvement of MUSIC and Dont Be Dumb a second wind but he hasnt really capitalized
