Can someone clarify how the tipping system works? Last I heard, about a year ago, the $ tipped by the customer doesn't really matter as long as it's under the min. wage rate, as DD will make up the difference to meet the threshold and not tell the driver what the customer's initial tip was

Is this still true? I've never taken advantage of that information but I am curious as to whether it's true or not
