How many hours do u drive?

start at 10:30, right after 1 is when the orders started drying up so a lil over 2

i got lucky though. it's been dead way often and i never had to sit around waiting for a decent order to come through, which almost never happens

    what does she want them
    to do for her?

  • Mar 2, 2022

we got two $2 promos from 4-8pm going on here at the same time, so basically a $4 promo

scheduled myself for 5-8 and ima sit in the apartment with the app running but part of me fears the promo is too good and s***'s gonna be dry as nun p**** bc everyone tryna get that bonus money

made $70 off lunch so i'm cool either way ig. clearing $100 on a wednesday is pretty rare, not sure if i've ever done it outside fri-sun

never really dash that much on weekdays anyway

  • Mar 2, 2022

alright had my app on 40 minutes and got one order that i declined bc that restaurant always be on some bullshit

about 5 minutes away from taking a hit of the pen and closing the app

ayo this cash on delivery thing dd just implemented, sounds like some bullshit to me

there are def some times where getting paid in cash is preferable but it feels like a ploy to pay dashers less. especially when they're saying they're deducting cash deliveries from your weekly pay almost chose to opt out when given the chance but i'll try

The type of people that don't use debit/credit cards in 2022 are the same type of people you don't really want to be doing business with, tbh.

true. i'm hoping it's just something about as common as red card orders, where refusing to do them entirely wouldn't impact your weekly order numbers.

idk, reading about it now and it doesn't seem as bullshit as i first thought, still though feels like it opens up options for s*** to go south when the pay isn't already put down prior to delivery. overall just don't wanna mess with it

potential issue with this new method of entirely paying in cash: as people continue to reject normal orders for being 11 miles away with a $2 tip or something, doordash increases the base pay until someone takes it

it’s not like with the cash method you can just notify the customer “hey 20 dashers rejected your order so now you have to pay more whenever someone does pick it up”

and what if i have a week where i only do cash orders? are they gonna take money straight out of my bank account?

for anyone unaware, doordash has a new method they just introduced where instead of the customer paying through the app they just pay for the order + tip in cash to the delivery, then the cash they would have paid for the order gets deducted from your pay

I opted out. I don’t need cash on me running around the city
