Been ubering straight from home, I’m kinda in a decent area.

It saves gas and I typically only do the orders that pay like double the mileage, in case I don’t get anything on the way back home

first dash in like a month, start off with a 37 item order from chik fil a and not like a taco bell bullshit 37 items they’re all food and drink

para says the tip is like $16, hope they’re right. it’s only a mile trip too

that s*** about lowering the base pay so “it can be higher for longer orders” is such bullshit lol

just got an offer for 10 miles paying $2.50, they’re using base pay on everything until enough people reject it

they really sent me 4 orders in a row for $2.50

Also yesterday was weird lol. I had only made like $15 up until 4-5pm, started to pick up a little and ended the night with $95 by 10pm.

can't even fathom the stupidity that goes into hiding the tip amount. who does that possibly benefit? high-tipping customers are harmed by it because their orders get treated like low tip orders, drivers are harmed by it for obvious reasons, and the company suffers from a bad rep when the food is sitting there getting cold in the restaurant because nobody's driving 8 miles for $4.50 that actually turns out to be $20. make me understand please

I can’t really think of anything Uber eats does that I don’t like. There’s the occasional GPS/map glitch and I have a small issue with how they changed double orders but other than that it’s the restaurants and traffic usually causing my grief lol

With the double orders though u used to be able to see where you were going after the first drop off, and half the time I don’t like the order of the drop offs. Sometimes I’m passing houses and backtracking to them which is dumb af. But still not a very common occurrence

Wednesday was so much better than Monday and Tuesday.

Lunch was boomin. Made like $60 from 12-5. Then dinner started and I snagged a bunch of fat orders.

Ended the night at $130.
Still gotta make like $100+ every day thru Sunday to make rent 😬
