Word. I find myself missing some good Grubhub and Ubereats orders while I'm on a delivery for doordash. It's not as busy but the payout evens out or is better most times.
Facts I will say it was for being a new driver,I started last month but it seems like Uber cool . Sending positive vibes your way 🙏🏽
Been ubering straight from home, I’m kinda in a decent area.
It saves gas and I typically only do the orders that pay like double the mileage, in case I don’t get anything on the way back home
Cuz I can’t sit out in my car anymore. Too hot out here fam

Deadass bout to put some tints on my car frfr..lol. But the heat makes dashers stay in so it's a little more money out here.

That sun is out from like 7AM to almost 9PM 💀it’s brutal
Even the shady spots if there’s no breeze, I’m sweating my ass off
Even got a heat rash a couple days ago 😓
first dash in like a month, start off with a 37 item order from chik fil a
and not like a taco bell bullshit 37 items they’re all food and drink
para says the tip is like $16, hope they’re right. it’s only a mile trip too
that s*** about lowering the base pay so “it can be higher for longer orders” is such bullshit lol
just got an offer for 10 miles paying $2.50, they’re using base pay on everything until enough people reject it
I’ve had my app on since 11am. It’s now 4:30 and I’ve made $15…..
Lunch shifts very hit or miss. Hope tonight is better
Lookin like it’ll be raining in my area till like dinner time. Hoping lunch shift is boomin
Also yesterday was weird lol. I had only made like $15 up until 4-5pm, started to pick up a little and ended the night with $95 by 10pm.
can't even fathom the stupidity that goes into hiding the tip amount. who does that possibly benefit? high-tipping customers are harmed by it because their orders get treated like low tip orders, drivers are harmed by it for obvious reasons, and the company suffers from a bad rep when the food is sitting there getting cold in the restaurant because nobody's driving 8 miles for $4.50 that actually turns out to be $20. make me understand please

Y’all should switch to Uber eats!!!

definitely plan on it but i'm still 18 and last time i checked the minimum age was 19

Hm didn’t know that
But that’s crazy DD is hiding your wage basically. It’s a fundamental problem for all the reasons U stated.
I can’t really think of anything Uber eats does that I don’t like. There’s the occasional GPS/map glitch and I have a small issue with how they changed double orders but other than that it’s the restaurants and traffic usually causing my grief lol
With the double orders though u used to be able to see where you were going after the first drop off, and half the time I don’t like the order of the drop offs. Sometimes I’m passing houses and backtracking to them which is dumb af. But still not a very common occurrence
Just delivered to a Tampa bay lightning player and tipped me $21 .
Who was it?
Wednesday was so much better than Monday and Tuesday.
Lunch was boomin. Made like $60 from 12-5. Then dinner started and I snagged a bunch of fat orders.
Ended the night at $130.
Still gotta make like $100+ every day thru Sunday to make rent 😬
