yeah i got u, when i get home w wifi after i call it a night ima download the app for customers and figure out where the best places are closest to the nicest neighborhoods. been camping outside logan’s steakhouse all night and consistently getting $8-13 orders, nothing crazy but it’s better than those college cheapskates pay

i got a $3.50 offer an hour ago and was genuinely disgusted by it

  • Sep 6, 2020

accepted an add on order w no tip on accident, was gonna say “thanks for the tip” when i handed off but she handed me a $10 b**** i can’t even use this for laundry w the coin shortage

my side of town is just like this. All i do is drive 5 minutes down the street to this plaza with about 8 restaurant and then park and wait. I decline everything above 5 miles and less than like 5 items(high items will be more money spent on food). You'll consistently get 15-25% tips from this because thats the 'American standard' when it comes to eating out .

    Yesterday I bagged $97 in 2.3 hrs

Damn. I might have to switch to that strategy and stop worrying about the rate getting too low. Although I thought they could kick you off the app if it was below like 65?

Do you know if it affects being eligible for catering? I’m pretty close to being able to do that.

according to the doordash website, 4.5 average rating and 20 lifetime deliveries

that doesn’t sound right though. i’ve been doing this like 3 weeks and i’m eligible by those standards

  • Sep 6, 2020

Didn’t bring my red card so first dash was a bust cause I’m for damn sure not payin outta pocket

  • Sep 6, 2020

reddit says 150 lifetime orders, 4.5 rating, and 90% completion rate

at 82 deliveries rn cant find anything on the pay for it though

    How did you get that

    How did you get that

I used my Doordash referral link to sign myself up over and over again. I coded/programmed a bot to do it for me automatically

Is DoorDash worth it for someone who is unemployed atm? I was thinking about working this or grubhub to make some bank during quarantine

Nope, can only be kicked off for completion and customer rating. Also lateness, but not the ontime rating its based on tracking your location.

And nah it doesnt affect catering eligibility. Theyve emailed me about doing that, but ive been too lazy to order the catering bag lmfao. They lost a lawsuit about acceptance rate so trust me they can never use it against you anytime soon.

yes unless you’re afraid of putting miles on your car. I make $100 a night working 5-10 give or take.

  • Sep 6, 2020

alright found an outback steakhouse like a mile from the upper-middle class neighborhoods i was getting orders from yesterday. finna camp outside that s*** today and hope for the best, it’s got like 3 other $$’s right by it so this might be my night

not the actual tip until it’s completed, but it tells you the total pay for the order. normally the base rate is between $2 and $4.50 so you can usually figure it out

Try to develop a real skill. Maybe you can use Doordash as an engine to get that done but think about what you really want to do/get out of life and how could Doordash help you achieve that
If it can’t then ur just wasting time
