Rick Rubin goes the way of the Timbo (ai shill), calls it ‘the new punk rock’

Timbo liked this post, so we defo have a case of two dumb b****es telling each other exactlyyyyy going on.

Also worth mentioning always that Rubin is a friend, supporter and admirer of Peter Thiel.

I wish I could say it had surprised me, but it hadn't whatsoever.

verified suckers in his IG comments to this saying this is accountability, the goat is back, this is grown man behavior etc. he's sorry that he got caught and uses the rest of this, along with Tynia's statement, to continue to launder this trashy ai sites reputation and integrity.

    WESLEYS THEORY

Their playing a long long game with the idea that all they need is to get 1 AI “artist” through the door to hopefully “break” the overwhelmingly negative stigma attached.

They’re committing hard to this because if they can succeed, they will earn more money then they have EVER earned in the industry, period. They don’t have to pay an A.I artist that isn’t real if it generates REAL $.

And it goes beyond that as well. Real artists have the tendency to ask for more as time goes on. More money, more creative freedom, more things that greedy suits see as a hinderance. Those pesky artists always have to talk back! A.I artists won’t do that. They won’t have a voice or thoughts beyond what’s programmed.

These labels think they’re slick and know that this will only work if they can get some of the creative REAL people on board. A computer can never be a curator the way a human can, they can only imitate. Which is why they’ve convinced people like Timbaland to join them on this souless tryst. If the labels and Timbo succeed, both are set up to receive all the money that would normally go to a real artist. And it’s an endless stream of money if they’re successful.

If they fail, the label isn’t really affected. They know most people don’t see them as a face and already don’t like them. If it fails and nothing picks up within the next 3-4 years, they can just shrug their shoulders and continue to look for ways to sneakily incorporate AI into the industry for monetary gain. The only ones who will really hurt from it are the creatives like Timbo who co-signed it and have a face and image people are familiar with.

artist needs story and narrative to connect with consumers, and although a.i has surpassed the uncanny valley of realism in its video generation, it has a long way to go

most of music money comes from live performance and selling t shirts. an a.i can maybe sell a t shirt. an a.i cannot do what taylor swift, beyoncé, and kendrick do which is put assess in seats. they are artists with rich REAL history that ppl put money into. it’s less to do with the music itself then it is with the persona

saying that to reply to your brilliant comment, by saying that for a.i artists to work, they need to be such strong persona’s and as much as that can be auto generated, it still demands a certain “authenticity” that i don’t think a.i can generate. be cause as much as a.i can generate content and media that meets the standards for most college educated americans (really poor media literacy and lack of appreciation for the arts), it simply can’t be a real person that people can really identify with.

if they wanna make money you’re saying need to start creating basically modeling deals where your likeness is sold to a label, they use your likeness for an a.i to generate content, and you get a piece of the pie to perform the a.i generated music. and with how poor big artists like carti perform, it can easily be a blank check that’s ushered for just showing up to the venue and helping them sell the fantasy that sells the shirts.
